Introduction
As mentioned in previous articles, to "geo-locate" means to be able to discover on the Earth surface our exact position, or nearby.
In order to express this kind of information and eventually make it usable to others, we need a conventional way: the coordinate system
There are many kind of systems, but in this article we will treat only the two system more used in excursional field: Geographic coordinates and UTM coordinates.
In the following descriptions we made some simplifications, however this does not invalidate their effectiveness.
